Tigress

FEATURE FILM 100 mins

Adapted from the controversial memoir by Niromi de Soyza, TIGRESS is the story of an upper-caste teenage girl in mid-1980s Sri Lanka who became one of the first female fighters with the militant Tamil Tigers.

Set against the canvas of civil war, TIGRESS is a compelling portrayal of life as a guerilla fighter and a heart-wrenching story about family, friendship and first love.
